I am using DMC, 2 over 2 on 36 count Barn Owl. For now, I am only stitching the squares with the verses, on separate pieces on linen. I love the boldness of the colors using two plies of floss on this fabric! The only floss change I plan on making so far is for the lettering. So I left off the stitched border and figure when i sew it up the cording or whatever i put around it will edge it nicely . It is for my middle son and his wife this year.
