Ok, who else besides me has a box of lovelies waiting to be turned into something to hang on a wall or display in other ways?

I love to stitch so much that I tend to get ahead of myself and keep stitching away, even if I haven't gotten around to framing/finishing the dozen or two projects I have in limbo. I take them out every once in a while to admire them before putting them back up...

Fabric fading issue..a first for me!

I posted this on the Wagon, but I wanted to gather opinions from all over so here's my problem....
The fabric for my Castles in the Air has faded! How do I know? I took it off the q-snaps to add the extenders and under the clamps it is still the lovely light teal of Silkweaver's Morning Mist, but the rest of the fabric has faded to silver! I know they say on the site to remove q-snaps when not stitching, but I've never had a problem with any fabric before, including some...

I am going to do as much as I can to Grateful Heart, thenmaybe work a bit on Coffin Buzz, which had become a UFO because I simply forgot about it!

I am organizing some stash...sorting patterns and putting them in page protectors and binders. I may start one of the blocks of HOHRH...I made working copies today and enlarged the...

This is my progress on Grateful Heart, including the changes I made in the bottom band. I have run out of a couple of the colours, so I will have to delay my finish for a few weeks. TFL!

Finished this off yesterday afternoon, it is called Winter Whitetail by Something in Common ( it was in the 2003 jcs ornie issue) I stitched it on a piece of handdyed sparkly 28 count , which made it considerable bigger than i wanted for an ornie!

So I left off the stitched border and figure when i sew it up the cording or whatever i put around it will edge it nicely . It is for my middle son and his wife this year.

I finished part 6 friday evening but have had a busy weekend, well saturday was busy, sunday was recovery!! so havnt had a chance to post a picture till this morning!

I did this ornie for the woman who runs the Boxer rescue organisation that we got Buster from. Her little white Boxer called Lucy died recently. This woman always adopts the older dogs that a lot of people don't want to adopt, so she doesn't ever seem to have very long with any of her little senior citizens. Lucy was a beautiful girl, such a sweet soul.

Sarah Moon is available on Needleprint as an infinity download. This means the chart downloads compatible with the Jane Greenoff cross stitch designer program. You can change colours, adjust the pattern, and lots more with this program. I have it, and am loving it!

Pumpkin Ghost Block

This is SanMan Designs Pumpkin Ghost Block. I love how it turned out. I stitched it on Monaco fabric that I dyed and used Dmc glow-in-the-dark floss for the ghost and the bat's eyes. I plan on making it into a small pillow.

I bought the kit in a show in 1999 or 2000, never took off from the drawer till this spring. I've really enjoyed stitching it.
